Android fans rush to buy ‘phenomenal’ AI-powered phone and 100GB for £25p/m

ANDROID lovers are in for a treat as I’ve spotted a fantastic deal for Google’s flagship device.

Carphone Warehouse is offering the Google Pixel 8 and £100GB of data for £24.99 a month and £9 upfront.

Phones are often split into two categories: those that run on iOS and those that run on Android, which has led to the emergence of Team Apple and Team Android.

If you’re unfamiliar with the latter’s offerings, it may be because there are so many choices on the market, from Samsung and Google to Honor and Xiaomi.

Despite the fierce competition, Google has remained an extremely strong contender since the launch of the first Pixel back in 2017.

However, it’s worth remembering the company has been in the mobile game since it released the Nexus One 14 years ago in 2010, so it definitely knows a thing or two by now.

On its website, Carphone Warehouse has it marked as a best-seller: clearly fans of Android can’t get any of this stellar handset.

The Pixel 8 is the latest flagship release from the tech giant, and while it may not have the £1,000 eye-watering price tag, some flagship releases don’t think you’re losing out on high-end tech.

The 6.2 Actua display provides a refresh rate of 60-120Hz, and if you’re coming from a phone that already has a high refresh rate, you’ll still notice how much smoother streaming, gaming, and scrolling become at this level.

A super bright and smooth display will likely mean longer screen time as you maximize your new device’s potential.

So it’s a good thing Google promises 24 hours of battery life thanks to its AI that learns your patterns to make each charge go further.

As I mentioned earlier, there’s a huge range of Androids currently on the market, from affordable alternatives to the full-on frills flagship devices.
