ONE savvy woman has come up with a clever hack to keep blinds looking their best.
Her cleaning tip required just a few items from her kitchen.
TikToker @randyandco demonstrated the hack in a viral video on the social media platform.
“How to clean blinds properly,” she said.
The start of the hack clearly started out in the kitchen — before getting anywhere near the blinds.
Just a few tools typically used for cooking and post-dinner clean up helped get her shutters to look pristine.
HOW IT’S DONE
She used a typical yellow and green dishwashing sponge, slicing a pocket into it along the color line.
The TikToker repeated the same process with a second sponge.
Pulling out a pair of tongs, she attached a sponge to each end.
The repurposed kitchen tools allowed her to spray cleaning solution onto the sponges.
Clamping down on the tongs for each blind made for an easy yet effective clean.

“The sponges are expensive wouldn’t waste them on blinds,” one wrote.
“I bought the swifter that has these attachments,” another advised. “Super cheap and very effective.”
“Get dusting gloves, you can get in all the spots by the strings and stuff,” one more said.
