Youth Congress launches national outreach to hardsell Congress guarantees for Youth

Conceived at a recent IYC national council meeting, the campaign was launched by Rahul Gandhi with the Youth Congress national president Srinivas BV spreading the campaign. The outreach, through home visits across the states, showcases five Congress guarantees to the youth –to fill up three million job vacancies in the central government, to pay Rs 1 lakh annual apprenticeship (about Rs 8,500 monthly) to every graduate and diploma holder below 25 years, to provide Rs 5,000 crore corpus to fund startups by the youth, a law to curb the menace of examination paper leaks and the promise to scrap the Agnipath scheme for recruitment in the army.
