Key United player is 'frustrated' and could leave this summer amid interest from Euro giants - Report

Bayern Munich are reportedly eyeing a sensational move for Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes.

According to the Independent’s Miguel Delaney, Fernandes has become frustrated by the sense of drift at Old Trafford and could be open to an exit in the summer.

However, the Bundesliga giants will likely have to spend a massive fee to allow United to let one of their best players leave.

The 29-year-old has consistently performed well since arriving at Old Trafford in 2020.

He has registered 79 goals and 64 assists in 230 appearances across all competitions.

The Portuguese has been a key member of Erik ten Hag’s team this season, scoring 10 league goals in 33 appearances.

The Red Devils were not the same team without Fernandes against Crystal Palace and Arsenal. They struggled to create chances and comfortably lost both matches.

The attacking midfielder is understandably frustrated as United have been absolutely dismal this season.

But given his quality, they should do everything possible to convince him to stay in Manchester.
