Lafayette Police looking for suspect in Tuesday afternoon shooting
LAFAYETTE, La. (KLFY) -- Lafayette Police are asking for the public's help in finding the person or people responsible for a shooting this afternoon.
Police responded at 1:39 p.m. today in the 1300 block of NE Evangeline Thruway to a report of a shooting in progress. Officers found a person with a non-life threatening gunshot wound. The victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
Detectives with LPD are actively investigating this incident.
