Anya Taylor-Joy Brings Old Hollywood Glam to 'Furiosa' Cannes Premiere Alongside Chris Hemsworth & His Wife Elsa Pataky

The stars of the movie Furiosa are at the 2024 Cannes Film Festival!

Anya Taylor-Joy brought hr elegant sense of fashion to the red carpet for the Furiosa premiere on Wednesday (May 15) in Cannes, France.

The 28-year-old actress was joined by her co-stars Chris Hemsworth (with wife Elsa Pataky), Tom Burke, and Alyla Browne, as well as writer and director George Miller.

In a new interview, George explained why Anya only has 30 lines of dialogue in the whole movie, despite being the title character.

Here’s a synopsis: As the world fell, young Furiosa is snatched from the Green Place of Many Mothers and falls into the hands of a great Biker Horde led by the Warlord Dementus. Sweeping through the Wasteland, they come across the Citadel presided over by The Immortan Joe. While the two Tyrants war for dominance, Furiosa must survive many trials as she puts together the means to find her way home.
