Milo Yiannopoulos Has Resigned As Ye’s Chief of Staff
Apparently, he drew the line at “Yeezy Porn.”
Did you know that the notorious alt-right troll Milo Yiannopoulos was working for Kanye West? Well, he was, but he recently tendered his resignation, citing “concerns” about West’s new team and the rapper’s desire to enter the pornography business. Turns out that Yiannopoulous had been working as West’s chief of staff at Yeezy for the past two years, according to TMZ. He apparently drew the line not at antisemitism or allegedly threatening to lock Donda Academy students in cages, but at porn.
In his resignation letter, which he provided to the gossip site, the former Breitbart News editor kept things professional. “I cannot be complicit in the production or dissemination of pornographic films and literature, for moral and religious reasons,” he wrote. All things considered, this is normal enough. It does get odd, though. Yiannopoulous added that he could not participate because the production of pornography and the people who are involved “represent an imminent danger to my life as a recovering addict and an unacceptable risk to my spiritual and physical health as a former homosexual.” Since 2021, Yiannopoulos has referred to himself as an “ex-gay” and has advocated for conversion camps.
If you had not heard about West’s plans to get into the porn business, that’s fair. Unfortunately, I’m going to tell you about it now. Last month, a source close to West told TMZ that the rapper was planning on launching a porn production company: Yeezy Porn. According to this source, West had already reached out to Stormy Daniels’s ex-husband, porn veteran Mike Moz, to help spearhead the initiative. You really never know who is going to be the newest character in Yeezy World.
Yiannopoulos’s departure seems to indicate that Yeezy Porn is going full steam ahead. However, the writer, who had to be kicked off of both X and Facebook for his vitriol, kept the door open to working with West in the future. If the company ceased making porn, Yiannopoulos wrote that it would “be an honor to serve you again.” Speaking to TMZ, Yiannopoulos said, “I wish Ye every success in the future. I have some concerns about his new team and hope he proceeds with caution.”
Multiple sources told the outlet that Yiannopoulos is only the latest in a string of resignations within the company. “Key players among the company’s leadership have exited in the past few weeks,” TMZ reported. What is going on over there? Seems like nothing good, especially if the guy who interned for Marjorie Taylor Greene is concerned about the company West is keeping.
