Biden raises tariffs on Chinese EVs, solar cells, steel, aluminum

WASHINGTON, D.C: Adopting a strategy that will increase tensions between the world's two largest economies, this week, President Joe Biden adopted major new tariffs on Chinese-made electric vehicles (EV), advanced batteries, solar cells, steel, aluminum and medical equipment.
