Letter to the editor: What qualifies as relevant?

The New York judge in the Donald Trump trial has denied Mr. Trump's request to have Mark Pomerantz, the unethical, book-writing former Manhattan special assistant district attorney, testify because, in the judge's words, the information he would provide would "not [be] relevant and material" to the proceedings.
