Clark was the no. 1 overall WNBA draft pick this year, following her standout college career at Iowa. She played her first official WNBA game on Tuesday, which saw the Indiana Fever lose to the Connecticut Sun 71-92. She'll face off against Breanna Stewart, the no. 1 draft pick in 2016, when the Indiana Fever and New York Liberty compete on Thursday. Stewart was last year's WNBA MVP and reigned as the highest scorer on her team, averaging 23 points per game. She previously played for the Seattle Storm, but signed with New York Liberty as a free agent in 2023.
