Police investigating double shooting in Hartford

Two men in their 20s were hospitalized after a double shooting on Homestead Avenue in Hartford on Thursday afternoon.

Two men were hospitalized after a double shooting in Hartford on Thursday afternoon.

Patrol officers responded to the 200 block of Homestead Avenue around 3:11 p.m. on Thursday on a ShotSpotter notification, according to the Hartford Police Department.

During the investigation, an area hospital alerted officers that two gunshot victims were dropped off. The victims, both men in their 20s, were suffering from non-life-threatening injuries, police said.

The Hartford Police Department’s Major Crimes and Crime Scene Divisions responded and are conducting the ongoing investigation.
