F1 drivers Nico Hulkenberg, Max Verstappen, Zhou Guanyu, George Russell and Charles Leclerc pose behind the Brazilian flag while posing for a group photo at the Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari Circuit on Thursday (May 16) in Imola, Italy.

The Formula 1 stars joined several of their fellow drivers at a track run to honor late racing legends Ayrton Senna (from Brazil) and Roland Ratzenberger (from Austria).

The run was organized by former Aston Martin driver Sebastian Vettel, who can be seen next to Nico on the far left of the main photo above.

Other current F1 drivers taking part and seen pictured here include Daniel Ricciardo, Yuki Tsunoda, Lance Stroll, Fernando Alonso, Lewis Hamilton, Carlos Sainz, Esteban Ocon, Pierre Gasly, Lando Norris, Sergio Perez, Logan Sargeant and Alex Albon.

The track run was to honor the aforementioned drivers, who died in separate car accidents at the track during the 1994 San Marino Grand Prix race weekend.

Check out a video here of Sebastian talking about the run and honoring the drivers.

This weekend, the drivers will take to the track for the next grand prix of the season – the Formula 1 MSC Cruises Gran Premio Del Made In Italy E Dell’Emilia-Romagna 2024. The first practice begins Friday (May 17) at 7:30am ET, with the race on Sunday (May 19) at 9am ET.
