Sporting a leopard print unitard and fur coat, while armed with a megaphone and boom box speaker, Remeaise danced her heart out to hype up runners.
She set up shop at the notorious 16 mile wall of the 26.2 mile race to offer encouragement and energy.
However, she says it was a “split decision” to head to the London Marathon for the first time.
It saw her racking up thousands of views on TikTok for her performance dancing to Technotronic’s Pump up the Jam.
Spotting her on social media, Jam Shed Wines signed the nan as a brand ambassador.
Bosses dubbed her the “perfect embodiment of their unapologetically different ethos”.
Fast forward to now, Remeaise has starred in a music video for Jam Shed Wines and Star.One.
“The last few weeks have all been such a whirlwind,” Remeaise says.
“I’m still in disbelief that my dance moves caused so much attention online.
“But I am so grateful for everything that’s come afterwards.
“I’ve always loved hip hop and drum n bass.
“I used to dance to Pump up the Jam in my aerobics class back in the day.”
Remeaise has even earned herself the title of London Marathon’s Dancing Gran.
People have called her the “best cheerleader ever” and praised her “fabulous energy”.
The YouTube video of Remeaise’s professional dancing debut has totted up a cool 155,000 views over the last week.
On TikTok, Remeaise’s dancing videos have surpassed 75,000 views each, with her achieving over 21,500 likes across them.
