The ‘secret’ rooftop attraction in the UK – with private saunas, cocktail bar and pizza restaurant

BRITS looking for something unique to do this summer might want to consider heading for a rooftop sauna.

A place in London offers that exact experience, alongside other relaxation experiences – and food and drinks, all with a view of the city.

Netil 360 has been described as a “secret rooftop sauna” and is promising visitors “another summer of immaculate vibes on the roof”.

The highlight of Netil is almost certainly its saunas, with private ones available to book.

The Rooftop Saunas website claims: “Our handcrafted timber saunas are the perfect way to de-stress and relax your body by improving circulation and muscle tension.”

The saunas can be booked for group sessions or individual, with three session options available, including 30 minutes, 60 minutes and 90 minutes.

They also include use of the waterfalls and plunge barrels, which provide further relaxation alongside the sauna.

Meanwhile, ‘Sauna Experience’ and ‘Extended Sauna Experience’ sessions come with a private cool-down space and mini-bar.

After relaxing with the spa facilities, guests can head upstairs to the rooftop bar and restaurant, which serves locally sourced beer and drinks, as well as cocktails.

Neapolitan pizzas are also freshly made to order by the head chef and pizzaiolo.

The pizzas are topped with seasonal, locally sourced ingredients, with Netil describing their food as “next level”.

The spot was praised by Instagrammers Pretty Little London, who said it was “definitely one to try”.

They shared a video, which they captioned: “Did you know there is a secret rooftop sauna in East London?

“We tried the rooftop saunas at Netil Corner and loved winding down in the private cabins with a view, after a day out and about in London.

“The rooftop also has cool-down spaces, showers and cold water plunge barrels!

“And if that’s not enough, you can finish your day at the vibrant Netil 360 Rooftop Bar & restaurant, with a delicious Neapolitan pizza and a spritz while taking in the views over the city.”

Five new water attractions opening in the UK next year

  1. Therme Manchester will have 25 swimming pools, 25 water slides and an indoor beach.
  2. Modern Surf Manchester will be a surfing lagoon offering lessons to both beginners and experts.
  3. Chessington World of Adventures waterpark is set to have wave, infinity and spa pools as well as waterslides and cabanas.
  4. The Cove Resort, Southport is likely to have a water lagoon and a thermal spa with steam rooms and saunas.
  5. The Seahive, Deal plans to be the “surfing wellness resort” in the UK.

Their followers were pleased with what they’d seen, with even people from Finland, a country known for its sauna culture, impressed.

One wrote: “This looks fabulous.”

A second added: “As a Finn, I want to find a good sauna, I will have to come and try it out. Looks good!”

Sessions in the sauna can be booked from £11 per person.

Meanwhile, this is the best pizzeria in the UK.

And some people even say that the best pizza in the world is in the UK and not in Italy.
