The little-known site where you can get celebrities’ pre-owned clothes, bags and accessories for a fraction of the price
THEY’RE among the most stylish stars in the business.
And now you can get your hands on clothes, bags and accessories previously owned by stars including Vogue Williams, Ferne McCann, Georgia Toffolo, Ashley Roberts, Amanda Holden and Vicki Pattinson.
The little-known site Reliked is becoming increasingly popular, thanks to the bargains online, and the incredible discounts too.
As an example, Vogue is selling items including a pair of Little Mistress vegan leather trousers, which originally sold for £59.99, for just a fiver.
There are also a pair of size 6 wide-legged French Connection sequinned trousers, original RRP £75, for £9.
Toff is selling pricey items from Mango, Mint Velvet and Uniqlo, all for a fraction of the price, while Love Island’s Millie Court has some bargains up for sale too.
Lots of the stars choose to donate the proceeds of their sales to charity, with Amanda’s going to Theo’s Hope Fund, a fund set up via Tommy’s to provide special bereavement counsellors at all UK maternity units.
Alison is donating all of her proceeds from the sales of her pre-loved wardrobe to the British Liver Trust in memory of her mother, who died from Liver Cancer, while Vogue is donating hers to charity through the Michael Matthews Foundation.
And for those who love a designer buy, there are some huge names on the site – including Chanel and Burberry.
There are a pair of white Chanel heels in a size 4 for £355 instead of £895, while there’s a Burberry kids’ dress for £16 instead of its RRP of £360.
It’s not only women who can benefit from the site either.
Male celebrities including Spencer Matthews, Callum Best and Tom Daley are all selling their pre-loved items online.
“For a pre-loved/reselling site, Reliked is exceptional!” one buyer said about the site.
“I have ordered many times and will continue to do so as the products arrive in good time, in great condition and for a fraction of the retail price.
“Even better that they are the only secondhand/reselling site I know of that allow return for store credit – can’t imagine ever being able to send something back to Vinted, eBay etc!”
They added that the “beauty products are particularly great as they are brand new but a real bargain”.
“Great items in often new condition sent extremely swiftly despite the long weekend, at excellent prices!! another added.
How to look chic on a budget
Fashion stylist Gemma Rose Breger, and beauty journalist Samantha Silver revealed how you can make your outfits elevated without spending hundreds of pounds.
- Don’t ever spend on designer denim: River Island ”always has such a great selection with fashion- forward jeans that follow the current trends”. The high street retailer offers a great range of sizes to fit UK 6 – UK 18, and three leg lengths – and prices start from an affordable £25.
- There are no rules for jewels: ”Pick up something at a car boot sale, or charity shop, scroll on Vinted & eBay, snap up something from the clothing section in your local supermarket when doing the food shop or check out high street clothing stores.”
- Don’t forget the pre-loved sites: With a rising number of second-hand sites, such as Vinted and Depop, there really is no excuse of not buying – or selling – pre-loved garments. Gemma, for instance, has managed to get her hands on chic Chanel sunnies for a mere £17.
