Now speaking candidly about her struggle, the TOWIE star admits that she finds the pregnancy announcements of friends and acquaintances, difficult to process.

She says, “Sometimes when I hear all these pregnancy announcements and people having kids… I am not a jealous person and I want to get happy for them.. but I feel sad for myself. Then I think, am I such a horrible person? I want to be so happy for these people.. announcing they’re pregnant. I think is it ever going to happen?”

But speaking in the latest episode of TOWIE, the reality TV star admits that she has become so fixated with trying to conceive, that she has forgotten how to appreciate the joys of living.

She said: “ I just want to have fun again.
And it be me and Jordan and doing silly funny stuff.”

The couple have been open about their fertility struggle after Sophie was diagnosed with endometriosis, a condition in which the lining of the womb, grows outside of the womb covering other fertility organs in 2020.

Having found fame on Geordie Shore, Sophie began dating Jordan in November 2022, moving down from Newcastle in 2023 and into their dream home in Essex.

Earlier this year in an episode of TOWIE,  Jordan tearfully opened up about the couple’s devastating baby news.

“Two weeks before we came out here we thought she was pregnant again.

“It is f****** hard man.”

He added: “It’s just my next step in life, to be a dad.”

As Jordan started to cry, his co star Elma Pazar rushed to reassure him, saying: “It’ll happen when it’ll happen.

“I know that’s so hard to hear, that’s all you want, but you have forgotten the sole reason you are together.

“It isn’t to have a baby together it’s for each other.”

After the episode the couple were inundated with support on social media and Jordan took to Instagram to express his gratitude.

He said: I just want to say thank you so much for all of your kind words and support over last night and today.

“This is one of life’s many obstacles and journeys that is currently upon me and my beautiful @sophiekasaei.”

“It’s not been easy and continues to be difficult.

“But we remain positive as I would encourage everybody else in our position.

“Keep smiling and keep going.

“Everybody who has reached out I truly truly mean it thank you.

What is Endometriosis?

So what is the gynaecological condition that affects 1.5 million women in the UK?

Endometriosis is a long-term condition where tissue similar to the lining of the womb grows in other places such as the ovaries and fallopian tubes.

Symptoms of endometriosis can vary, but the most common include painful or heavy periods, pain during and following sex, bleeding between periods, pain in the lower abdomen and difficulty conceiving.

Endometriosis can also cause sufferers to be constantly tired, and experience discomfort when using the toilet.

As outlined by Endometriosis UK, other key symptoms include bleeding from the bowel, pain while urinating as well as back and leg pain.

Endometriosis can occasionally be diagnosed with ultrasound scans – but keyhole surgery is the most common form of diagnosis.
