Saturday’s weather forecast for the 149th running of the Preakness Stakes is anticipating scattered storms and cool temps as the horse racing world turns its attention to Pimlico Race Course in Baltimore.
That may not be the worst outcome for Kentucky Derby winner Mystik Dan, who is looking to become the 36th thoroughbred to win both the Run for the Roses and the Preakness. Mystik Dan has run well on muddy tracks before, even winning the Southwest Stakes in the slop.
