FACT CHECK: Nita Ambani Trying to Convince Rohit Sharma to Stay at Mumbai Indians For IPL 2025; Video Goes VIRAL | WATCH

Mumbai: It was another night to forget for the Mumbai Indians as they lost their last match of the season by 18 runs against Lucknow Super Giants on Friday at the Wankhede stadium. While the loss must have been painful, Rohit Sharma’s blazing 68 off 38 balls was the silver lining. Following his knock, he also got a standing ovation as fans reckon it may have been the last time Rohit played for MI at the Wankhede stadium.

But what caught the attention of fans on social media was MI owner Nita Ambani’s long conversation with Rohit after the match. While most believe that Nita was trying to convince Rohit to stay back at the Mumbai Indians, there is no proper audio to confirm that.

Here is the viral clip:

There have been multiple reports suggesting that things are not good between captain Hardik Pandya and Rohit. Recently, a clip of Rohit speaking with Abhishek Nayar went viral in which the former MI captain speaks of the dressing-room environment and reveals his future plans at the franchise.

Admitting that it was been a difficult season, Hardik said that it is a little early to point out what exactly went wrong against LSG.

“Quite difficult. Did not play good quality cricket, eventually costed us the whole season. It’s a professional world. Have to always come out and put our best foot forward. But yes, as a group we could not play quality cricket or smart cricket. Too early to point out what went wrong. The whole season kind of went wrong. We can pass this game as another one (that went wrong),” Hardik said at the post-match presentation.
