IMD warns of cyclonic circulation over Tamil Nadu, issues rainfall alert for 5 states

IMD reports heavy to very heavy rainfall in isolated areas of coastal Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and coastal and south interior Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, and Kerala due to a cyclonic circulation over Tamil Nadu and adjoining region. Over the next week, expect widespread light to moderate rainfall with thunderstorms and gusty winds in some regions of these states.
