Sarpanch killed, tourist couple injured in twin attacks in southern Kashmir

Former Sarpanch Aijaz Ahmad Sheikh shot dead in Herpora, Shopian. Non-local couple Farah Khan and Tabrez from Jaipur injured near river Lidder in Pahalgam. Mehbooba Mufti condemned the attacks ahead of Lok Sabha elections in Anantnag-Rajouri constituency, questioning the timing in relation to normalcy claims by the GoI.
