Newburgh woman arrested in fatal hit-and-run

MARLBORO, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- A Newburgh woman was arrested in connection to a fatal hit-and-run that killed two people in March. Angela Fischl, 25, faces two counts of leaving the scene of an accident that resulted in death.

On March 1, police responded to 1347 State Route 9W in Marlboro for reports of a fatal hit-and-run. After an investigation, police Fischl struck two pedestrians and kept driving until Newburgh Police stopped her.

Following an investigation, a warrant was issued for Fischl's arrest. She was remanded to the Ulster County Jail.
