However some viewers thought the over the top reactions may not have been real[/caption]

They gave their verdicts on different variety acts from across the UK and the rest of the world as they compete for a spot on the Royal Variety Performance.

One of the first acts was Daniele & Naimana from Italy who impressed the judges with their opera voices and their comedic timing in the ventriloquist comedy act.

Later on in the show comedian Alex Mitchell took to the stage where he seemingly had the judges in stitches with his self-deprecating set.

Both acts went through to the next round with flying colours as Alex was even given a standing ovation.

Simon even gave two thumbs up as he twice repeated the word: “Brilliant!”

However, some Britain’s Got Talent viewers thought there was something that was not quite right with the show.

They took to X – formerly known as Twitter – as they claimed some of the laughter form the judges was not entirely real.

But they slammed some of the shots of the Britain’s Got Talent judges enjoying the acts as “fake,”

One viewer claimed: “More fake audience reactions and fake judge reactions to push an agenda for a terrible act.”

A second exclaimed: “Fake laughing 🤔.”

“Every year…..the canned fake laughter for s*** comedians ????????????#bgt,” as a third user bizarrely noted.

Whilst a fourth penned: “Someone please explain what they’re all fake laughing at. What was funny? #BGT”

And a fifth viewer added: “Virtue signalling fake laughter #bgt,” alongside an GIF of Donald Trump pointing at an audience member.
