Topeka police find body behind restaurant

TOPEKA (KSNT) - Police are investigating after the body of an adult man was discovered behind a north Topeka restaurant on Monday.

City of Topeka spokeswoman Rosie Nichols says a local restaurant in the 500 block of NW Elm Row contacted law enforcement around 11:20 a.m. on May 20. Officers responding to the call found a man dead behind the business.

Nichols says detectives and crime scene investigators are looking into the situation. However, no foul play is suspect at this time.
