Adele Wants to Have a Baby With Rich Paul

“With me as her mother and Rich as her father, she’s going to be a bossy little queen, isn’t she?”

Adele is ready to expand her family with partner Rich Paul. During her Weekends With Adele show at Caesars Palace this past Friday, the award-winning singer told the audience that she wants another child and is “desperate for a girl.”

“Once I am done with all my ­obligations and all of my shows, I want to have a baby. I want a girl because I’ve already got a boy,” Adele said. “I feel like she might be like the person I love the most in the world, but also probably hate the most in the world — that is what I feel will happen.”

She also predicted that any future daughter with Paul will likely have a big personality. “She’s going to put me in my place all the time, isn’t she?” she said, adding, “With me as her mother and Rich as her father, she’s going to be a bossy little queen, isn’t she?”

The 36-year-old began dating Paul, a sports agent, in 2021. Though she has referred to the 42-year-old as her “husband,” neither has confirmed whether they are married. A baby girl would grow the couple’s blended family: The British artist shares an 11-year-old son, Angelo, with her ex-husband Simon Konecki, while Paul has three children from a previous relationship.

It’s not the first time that either has spoken publicly about wanting to have more children. Paul told E! News in 2022 that, as someone who became a parent at a young age, he was “looking forward to being a different dad, a more patient dad” if the opportunity to have a kid presented itself again. And at a residency show last summer, Adele said she wanted to become a mom “again soon,” confessing that she was even thinking about names already. “I’ve actually been writing lists,” she said. “So every time I see a name that I like, I write it down in my phone.”
