One moment you and your boyfriend are coordinating The Row accessories, and the next a trip to Japan sends your relationship into disarray. That is what may or may not have happened to Harry Styles and Taylor Russell, who reportedly broke up shortly after being seen riding bikes together in Tokyo.
According to the Sun, the couple — who were first seen attending each other’s shows almost a year ago — has decided to take “some time apart” after going through a “rough patch” prompted by traveling together in Japan in April. Since last June, when Russell materialized at several stops of Styles’s concert tour, they seem to have really hit it off. He experimented with being bald; she in turn tolerated his friendship with James Corden. But “things have become strained recently,” a source allegedly told the tabloid. It’s unclear exactly when they parted ways — though she showed up solo to the Met Gala earlier this month.
