Can the Pale Hose get out of their own way north of the border?

After a scintillating steamrolling at the hands of the Bronx Bombers, the beleaguered South Side baseball club heads north of the border to take on the underachieving Blue Jays at the Rogers Centre in Toronto.

The Blue Jays open play today sitting at 20-25, last in the AL East, with the third worst run differential in the American League. The Jays are a surprising 7-8 in their own division, but only 3-7 against the middling AL Central. Don’t be surprised to see them double that win total, however, as nothing soothes a struggling offense quite like facing the worst team in baseball!

Speaking of the worst team in baseball, if you thought that the White Sox fared poorly for first two months of the season or found their schedule to be exceedingly difficult, just wait until you see what the next month of games has in store:

The end of May looks nothing short of brutal, and the schedule doesn’t ease up much until we reach July. I don’t think we’ll be seeing any more 8-4 stretches in the near future ...
