Heatwave to continue in Rajasthan for next 4-5 days: Regional Met Dept
The Regional Meteorological Department of Rajasthan has issued a red and orange alert for various districts in the state due to the searing heatwave. With temperatures already exceeding 46 degrees Celsius, the department predicts that the mercury will rise above 48 degrees Celsius in the coming days. The heatwave is expected to continue for the next 4-5 days, with Pilin in Western Rajasthan recording the season's highest temperature at 47.2 degrees Celsius. The Met Department also forecasts that minimum night temperatures will remain above normal by 5 degrees Celsius for the next few days.
