A DOG GROOMER has revealed five dog breeds that she would never own, and revealed that a popular pooch will constantly be trying to bite your fingers off.
Laura shared her thoughts via a video posted to the TikTok channel for her dog food business @theheartofraw.
The dog lover revealed that the first pooch she would never want to own is a Cockapoo or any type of doodle (a breed mixed with a poodle).
She said that it is hard to stay on top of grooming the curly haired dogs, and added that they are either very stressed out or very hyper dogs.
The next breed on Laura’s list is any brachycephalic breeds.
Brachycephalic dogs are animals that have been bread to have short snouts and flat faces, such as Bulldogs and Pugs.
They often have breathing problems and troubles with their teeth and eyesight.
The breeding of these dogs are banned in some countries, such as the Netherlands, and some animal rights groups are calling for them to be banned in the UK.
“I do a lot of walking, so the fact that they struggle to breathe doesn’t suit me”, Laura said.
The dog groomer also put Cavaliers on her list of no no’s.
She said: “I love the temperament, of these dogs, but they have a lot of health issues”.
Cavaliers are prone to a number of health conditions, such as cataracts, ear infections and mitral valve heart disease.
Shar Pei’s are another breed Laura would never own, as she said the ones she has met have been angry, and added that they struggle with skin issues.
The final breed on Laura’s list is a Westie, as she said the adorable pooch is always trying to bite her fingers off when she grooms them.
Laura’s video has likely struck a chord with many people, as it has racked up over 67,000 views on the video sharing platform.
TikTok users raced to the video’s comments section to share their thoughts, with many sharing differing opinions.
