Love Island’s Paige slammed by fans as she promotes dangerous ‘punisher day’ in shock post

LOVE Island star Paige Thorne has come under fire by furious fans after boasting about her dangerous ‘punisher day’.

Paige, 26, declared she would be ‘punishing’ herself after failing to exercise or eat healthily for just “three or four days”.

The former paramedic proudly told her army of social media followers she would be doing a two-hour cardio session, including a 5K run.

But Paige has been hit with a huge backlash on TikTok for her irresponsible message, with some people even branding her “toxic”.

Writing in the comments, one fumed: “Punisher day? Let’s stop with that toxic behaviour please! You don’t need to punish yourself for living your life.”

Another added: “‘Punisher day’? Girl…do better. As someone who’s recovered from binge disorder seeing s*** like this is exhausting. It’s so damaging!!!”

A third blasted: “This is enough to get you cancelled. You really should’ve thought about ‘punisher day’. Do better.”

And a fourth even warned: “Eating disorders have the highest mortality rate of any mental illness and you’re broadcasting your ‘punisher day’. Remove this video and put more thought into what you are influencing here.”

Paige, from Swansea in Wales, found fame in the 2022 series of Love Island.

She now works as an influencer and has amassed almost 550,000 followers on TikTok and 1.3million on Instagram.

Paige recorded her video about her ‘punishers day’ while wearing tight black gym gear and while sipping on water.

She then down what appeared to be an energy or protein shot while chatting to her followers.

Paige said: “I’ve been away for three or four days and haven’t worked out.

“I’ve probably done about a thousand steps in the last four days. I feel horrific.

“And because I didn’t work out and I ate really badly, I’m about to do a punisher day of two hours worth of cardio.

“Do I want to? No. Am I in the mood? No. Can I be bothered? No.

“Anyway, I’m going to run. I haven’t run in about six months.

“Im going to do a 5K. No, actually I’m going to go hard. I’m going to do six. I’m lying…I’m not. I’m not.

“And then I’m just going to go to the gym and do what I would usually do in the gym.”

Paige has received almost 1,000 comments on her video.

2016 – Nathan Massey and Cara De La Hoyde were together form the start of the series, and since they won show have two kids and are married. STATUS: Still together.

2015 – Despite poor Jess Hayes being Max Morley’s second choice on the show, they did win – but they didn’t last as a couple. STATUS: Broken up.

Meanwhile, earlier this year Paige was tipped to be entering the Love Island All Stars villa.

However, the star – who split with Love Island’s Adam Collard in October 2022 – didn’t appear on the ITV2 show.

Prior to falling for Adam in the 2022 villa, Paige had been coupled up with Jacques O’Neill.

But the romance ended when he decided to quit the villa following a tense week following Casa Amor.
