Pregnant Megan McKenna bedridden as she reveals she’s in ‘so much pain’
PREGNANT Megan McKenna has been left bedridden as she revealed that she’s in ‘so much pain’.
The 31-year-old, who revealed she was expecting her first child in April, had visit a dentist while currently on holiday in Dubai with footballer beau Oliver Burke.
The couple are currently enjoying their babymoon over in the UAE.
However Megan has had pain in her jaw, so had to go and visit a health professional out there.
Talking to fans via her Instagram story while lying in her hotel room, Megan said: “Well today has been eventful, I’ve been back to a dentist in Dubai.
“I’ve had pain in my jaw again. After two courses of antibiotics, which has already stressed me out enough, I started to get pain in my tooth again. The one I had root canal on.
“I had to go back today to have the root canal, I can’t think of what it’s called, have it again where they re-dress it, clean it out, flush it out, put an an antibiotic medicine in the tooth and I’ve been in bed since 4pm.
“Wet flannel on my head, I’ve had a migraine all afternoon. It’s been a really shit day.
“We went outside in the sun to eat lunch for like half an hour I was like oh my god I need to go to bed.
“I’ve spent the whole afternoon in bed.”
Megan asked fans: “Anyone else had never ending issues with a tooth when pregnant??!!”
She added: “Stressing me out all these antibiotics/dental work.”
It’s not the first time that Megan has been ill during her pregnancy.
Back in April she was rushed to hospital after suffering from a second allergic reaction in two weeks.
The former Towie star was rushed to Birmingham City Hospital after her tongue and neck became swollen.
Detailing her scary experience, the star wrote on Instagram: “Sorry I’ve been quiet I’ve been really unwell, I have an abscess which has been the most painful thing I’ve ever experienced & I’ve had an allergic reaction to a medication I took for it.
“It all lead to bad swelling in and under my tongue & neck which has been scary.
“I can’t thank Birmingham City Hospital enough and the ambulance service for taking care of me this morning.
“The care I received was amazing.”
Two weeks before she had a bad reaction to medication she had been taking – and her stomach doubled in size.
The mum-to-be also revealed that she had contracted a UTI while on an Instagram live.
Meanwhile fans are convinced that they’ve worked out the gender of Megan’s unborn baby.
Megan has been flaunting her blossoming tummy in a series of swimwear snaps while in Dubai.
In the latest, fans shared that they think she’s having a girl in the comments section.
She was also warned by fans as she tucked into ‘unsafe’ food while on her travels.
The pair visited a posh restaurant and ordered a plate of prawns – which left fans unimpressed.
This prompted one fan to write in the comments section: “Don’t they day not to eat seafood when pregnant ie prawns etc.”
Another mused: “Not really meant to eat any kind of fish food or eggs.”
Megan and Oliver met on New Year’s Eve in 2022.
The happy couple got engaged on June 14 of last year after just five months of dating.
