Livingston man charged with having child sex abuse images

A Livingston man was arrested following a child sex abuse image investigation, according to New York State Police.

LIVINGSTON, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- A Livingston man was arrested following a child sex abuse image investigation, according to New York State Police. James Jennings, 36, was charged with five counts of possession of obscene sexual performance by a child.

State police say investigators following up with a submitted tip determined that Jennings was allegedly in possession of images depicting the sexual abuse of children. He was taken into custody on May 20.

Jennings was arraigned at the town of Livingston Court. He was then remanded to the Columbia County Jail without bail.
