Kentucky Reports 0 Abortions as Abortion Ban Saves Babies

The state of Kentucky is now saving thousands of babies from abortions as the state has officially recorded 0 abortions for 2024.

Kentucky is one of almost 20 states that offer some form of legal protection for unborn children – whether it’s a comprehensive abortion ban or a heartbeat law protecting babies once their beating heart can be detected.

Kentucky’s Cabinet for Health and Family Services – its official state health department – has reported 0 abortions. Under the pro-life law, any abortion has to be reported to the state health department, including those that might be necessary and allowed to save the life of the mother. But none were necessary.

April is the 12th month without reported abortions since Kentucky’s pro-life law went into effect – thus saving thousands of babies from abortion. There were 2,550 abortions reported in Kentucky in 2022, a 43% decrease from the previous year – meaning many little babies owe their lives to the state’s abortion ban.
