Braden Davis Tosses Shutout in Sooners' Win Over TCU

Oklahoma starting pitcher Braden Davis tossed a complete game shutout to lead the Sooners to a 4-0 win over TCU in the Big 12 Baseball Tournament at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas, on Wednesday.

Davis gave up just four hits, struck out nine and did not walk a batter in getting OU's first complete game of the season.

The Sooners' offense came through with two runs each in the fourth and sixth innings.

In the fourth, Jackson Nicklaus doubled to center field to score Michael Snyder to get the scoring started.

Kendall Pettis singled in Nicklaus to put OU up 2-0.

In the sixth inning, the Sooners got a pair of solo home runs from Anthony Mackenzie and Nicklaus to go up 4-0.

Oklahoma will play the seventh seeded Kansas Jayhawks on Thursday at 12:30.
