ANNA Knight is left terrified as she becomes a victim of a violent crime in EastEnders.
The character – played by Molly Rainford – has had a difficult few weeks as she’s tried to help her dad George navigate his grief over the death of his adoptive mother Gloria, and the court case involving his adoptive dad Eddie.
She was also devastated to learn that George has a brain condition linked to repeated blows to the head from his days as a boxer – and that one more knock could kill him.
But George has shown little regard for his health and agreed to another illegal boxing match, only to find his opponent to be estranged son Junior, Anna’s brother.
While Anna and sister Gina were delighted to be reunited with their sibling, the Knight family suffered further drama when George’s partner Elaine Peacock discovered he had kissed the girls’ mum, Cindy Beale.
Elaine kicked George out and in upcoming EastEnders scenes, Elaine arranges a girls’ night out with Anna and Gina, reassuring them that they always have a home in The Vic with her.
George gets his hopes up when Elaine rings him to ask him over, but she just wants him to cover the bar while she’s out.
At Peggy’s, Gina and Anna try to convince Elaine to give George another chance while he tries to cope with a crowd at The Vic single-handedly.
The girls are annoyed when Cindy comes into the club for a tipple, so she heads over to the pub instead.
Seeing that George is struggling, Cindy offers to help, and they are soon back in their old Marbella routine.
Elaine is horrified when she returns to see Cindy lording it up behind her bar.
Later, Junior tries to make peace between Cindy and the girls by getting them all to meet him at Peggy’s but Anna and Gina struggle to forgive Cindy for causing chaos between George and Elaine.
As she and Gina queue at McKlunky’s, Anna is left terrified when a thug snatches her bag.
What will happen next? And will Anna seek comfort from her mum after her ordeal?
