Benge Leads Cowboys to Win Over Texas Tech
Oklahoma State's baseball team got an impressive outing from starting pitcher Carson Benge and the Cowboys beat Texas Tech 7-2 in the Big 12 Tournament at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas, on Wednesday.
Benge went 6 and a third innings, giving up three hits and just one earned run, while striking out 10.
OSU's offense started things off in the bottom of the first inning with a two-run home run by Zach Ehrhard.
In the fifth inning a walked-in run gave OSU a 3-0 lead.
The Cowboys got another run in the sixth inning when Lane Forsythe scored on a wild pitch.
OSU added three more in the seventh inning on two more walked-in runs and another run scored on a wild pitch.
The Cowboys will play UCF on Thursday at 7:30 pm.
