Callum Wilson ‘increasingly likely’ to leave Newcastle in summer as Toon prepare for transfer overhaul
CALLUM WILSON is expected to leave Newcastle this summer, according to reports.
Eddie Howe is determined to bolster his squad following an injury-ravaged season.
However, the Magpies will have to sell players before buying to remain in line with the Premier League’s Profitability and Sustainability Rules.
Several players are expected to be transfer listed ahead of the summer window.
And according to The Telegraph, Wilson is increasingly likely to leave.
The 32-year-old has been limited to just 26 appearances across all competitions this season due to various injury issues.
And he is now expected to seek a move away from St James’ Park.
Clubs in Saudi Arabia have already been in talks with Newcastle over a potential move.
Miguel Almiron is also expected to leave the club.
The midfielder came close to joining Saudi Pro League side Al Shabab in January, but instead decided to stay in England.

With a number of players set to exit, Howe has already set his sights on potential targets.
Newcastle have been linked with a move for Arsenal goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale, who fell down the pecking order at the Emirates Stadium this season following the arrival of David Raya.
Bournemouth’s Lloyd Kelly and Fulham’s Tosin Adarabioyo are also on the club’s radar.
Both players will be available on free transfers this summer, meaning Newcastle will only have to spend on wages.
