Abbey Clancy says she has so much junk at mansion she could fill a SKIP… but insists her floors are clean enough to lick

ABBEY Clancy has been candid about her love of keeping her home spotless in the past, but even the model, 38, admitted she’s overdue a good clear out.

Speaking on her podcast The Therapy Crouch with hubby Peter Crouch, 43, Abbey confessed she’s guilty of holding onto junk for far too long.

When asked if the couple keep the the boxes of their smartphones, both agreed they do, even though they were not quite sure why.

“I’ve got like 10 of them,” Abbey revealed.

“I think it’s because it’s an expensive looking box and you’re like ‘I can’t just throw that away’,” Peter chimed in.

But Abbey revealed it’s not just old phone boxes she hasn’t thrown out and she needs a full day to sort out the other junk that’s been piling up in the couple’s £3 million mansion.

In fact, the mum said she plans on getting a skip so she can properly clean the garage.

“We haven’t had one in so long,” she said.

Despite the overdue clear out, Abbey still insisted her home is pretty clean, and even went as far to say she’d rather clean the floor with her tongue than clean the toilet with her toothbrush, when presented with the hypothetical dilemma.

“[I’d rather clean] the floor with my tongue because I know how clean my house floor is,” she said.

“My house is spotless.”

This isn’t the first time Abbey has shared how houseproud she is though.

The model who has been married to the former professional footballer for 10 years, previously shared that her family are prohibited from entering the house through the front door for one big reason.

“He’s getting kind of annoyed with me because I’m getting a new floor in the house,” she explained.

“And I made up this rule now that no one’s allowed to use the front door because I don’t want any mess in the hallway.”

She added to The Mirror: “I want everyone to use the side door so all the s*** can stay there and my house will always look nice. And he was just like, ‘This is ridiculous’.”

It’s no surprise that Abbey is so keen to keep her house clean though.

Her eye-watering crib flaunts a golden fire-place, a sweeping stair-case, contemporary neutral interior and an enviable garden.

Featuring in various snaps posted to Instagram, Abbey is certainly house-proud.

The serene home appears to boast calming fixtures and fittings throughout, including plush rugs, various comfortable white arm-chairs and a giant bed.

It’s clear that the practicality of the family pad has been well-thought out too, with a large family garden for ultimate play-time outside and plenty of spaces to chill-out, inside.

The consideration doesn’t end there, with the home boasting white doors and black metal trims throughout – adding to the modern theme.

Abbey lives with her husband Peter and their four children, Sophia, 12, Liberty, 8, Johnny, 5, and Jack, 4, in the lavish £3 million mansion in Surrey.
