Darkness into Light 2024
On the morning of the 11th May at 04.30 we took to the water to participate in the country wide effort to raise funds for the Darkness into light Charity, Pieta house.
There were 28 boats on the water who navigated their way through fog out as far as Roaches Point, accompanied buy the Carrigaline Coral group on Gem and lead by our Admiral, Annamarie.
This was a special morning on the water and we raised €3,864.00 for the charity. No doubt it will be put to good use. I would like to thank all who donated and participated in the event. A special thank you to all the club staff who were key to making this such a memorable and successful event. Hope to see you on the water again next year for what is now an annual event in the Club’s calendar.
