This fall, an all-star quartet of Adrian Belew, Tony Levin, Danny Carey and Steve Vai will unite as BEAT, a new act celebrating the second act of the progressive pioneers through a sprawling tour across North America. From a Sept. 12 departure from San Jose, Calif., to a Nov. 8 finale in Las Vegas, the supergroup will present 42 performances of mind-bending rock, presenting selections from King Crimson’s revered ‘80s trio of Discipline, Beat and Three of a Perfect Pair.With two of the group’s former members and a blessing from Robert Fripp, this tour guarantees the most authentic live experience of King Crimson’s second iteration since its heyday four decades ago.
