  • 1992: The Mariners scored three runs in the bottom of the ninth to walk off Cleveland, 5-4. Bert Heffernan knocked in his first big league RBI to start the rally; then, with two outs, pinch-hitter Kevin Mitchell ripped a shot down the left field line to score the tying and winning runs.
  • 1995: Mike Blowers etches his name in the Mariners’ record book alongside Alvin Davis as the only players in Seattle history to have 8 RBI in a game. Mike had a club-record four extra base hits, including his first HR of the season. He entered the game batting .118.
  • 1999: Ken Griffey Jr. sets career-high with 13-game hitting streak.
  • 2007: With his 3-for-6 performance, which includes a home run, Ichiro Suzuki collects 1,414 hits in his first 1,000 games in the major leagues. The Mariners’ outfielder total during this span is second only to Hall of Famer Al Simmons, who collected 1,443 hits playing for the Philadelphia A’s.
