Bridgerton star secretly marries in quiet ceremony – and has kept it secret for six months
BRIDGERTON star Golda Rosheuvel has surprised fans by getting married in secret – six months ago.
Golda, who plays Queen Charlotte in the huge Netflix period drama, kept her nuptials with playwright girlfriend Shireen Mula quiet.

A source has told the publication that Golda and Shireen also opted for a “low key” wedding too – unlike the lavish Big Days seen in Bridgerton.
“It was the complete opposite of a Bridgerton-style wedding – there were no extravagant displays or hundreds of guests,” the source said.
“The wedding itself was incredibly low key. But it felt right for the two of them and their friends and family are so happy for them both.”
Golda’s portrayal of Queen Charlotte in Bridgerton has made the 54-year-old actress a household name.
The character has become quite the icon and even sparked a spin-off series called Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story, which premiered on Netflix last year.
Golda naturally played Queen Charlotte in the series, while actress India Amarteifio played the Queen in her younger years.
Meanwhile, the third series of Bridgerton starring Golda dropped onto Netflix last week after much anticipation.
The raunchy period drama, which is set in the 19th Century, has however been split into two parts.
So far, only four episodes have landed with the streaming giant – and the fourth ep featured a massive cliffhanger.
Fans are furious that they now have to wait until June 13 to find out how the cliffhanger is resolved in the show.
Viewers will eventually get to see the story of Penelope Featherington (Nicola Coughlan) and Colin Bridgerton (Luke Newton) reach a climax, but many are miffed that they cannot see it immediately.
