My council house garden was destroyed over winter so I transformed it using Wilko and Temu buys – folks are stunned

“The wellies are out, so it’s time for another garden project”, she said, dancing around in her black boots.

The mum, from Yorkshire, revealed that she made her garden look lovely last year, but said that her gazebo was all blown away in a storm.

So, to jazz it up in time for Summer, the 28-year-old bought a brand new pergola from Wilko.

Despite, the instructions stating that the pergola was a two-man job, Jodie set to work putting it together herself.

She explained that last year she had put up gazebos, but thought that the pergola would be more durable, as she can just pull the fabric back in the event of a storm.

“Last year I might as well have just stood outside with money in my hand and let it blow away, as that is technically what happened”, she said.

With the help of her neighbours and her “mystery man”, Jodie was able to get the pergola up in no time and used it as a cover over her stylish garden furniture set.

Elsewhere in her garden, Jodie has also installed a tiny pond, decorated with plants and pebbles.

She also has a huge vegetable patch, with peas, broccoli, garlic, tomatoes and more.

“It’s all starting to come out and I’m so excited to eat my own veg again”, she said.

Jodie’s vegetables are all growing in circular flower beds, which she got from Temu, and she also has lots of flower beds, which are starting to bloom.
