The Hotel Arrey is located in Alella, a privileged area in Maresme (on the Barcelona coast), which also stands out for its designation of origin.

The main building of the Hotel is part of the history of Alella, Can Balcells, a mid-nineteenth century house, known in the town as “La casa xina”, where for years the wine cellar Cavas Signat was located. Arrey Hotels have recovered part of this history, making a careful rehabilitation and transformation of the house and its cellars.

The hotel has 37 rooms designed and intended to provide the best rest, some of which are located in the original (Masia) main building.

Guests can enjoy a spectacular outdoor space, in a quiet relaxing environment in the garden or around the pool. Dining is excellent in the hotel’s restaurant and is available with tables inside and out.

The Hotel Arrey is only a few kilometres from Vallromanes Golf Club and Llavaneras is also a short distance. Real Club El Prat Golf & Montanya are other possibilities in the area.

The wine region (DO) Alella  surrounds the hotel and there are many vineyards to visit just outside the town. Good restaurants and wine bars also prevail!

The magic of the Alella vineyards, just 15 km from Barcelona and one step away from the Mediterranean Sea, will enchant you. Alella has been registered as a Denomination of Origen (DO) in Spain since 1956. It is unique as it is the only remaining “urban” wine growing region in the world, with its close proximity to Barcelona.

Alella is an exclusive and cozy Wine Tourism Centre and open to anyone who wants to dive into the culture of wine and cava. There are unique experiences in the Wine & gastronomy including for example a picnic in the vineyard or maybe even a breakfast to start the day!

The lovely little town of Alella itself has a relaxed atmosphere and has some fabulous places to eat and maybe try some tapas, as well sample the local wines of course.
