The Venezuelan model had planned to have the fast-moving train in the background of her snaps but ended up standing too close to the tracks.

She was killed instantly.

The emergency services were called to the scene in Zacoalco de Torres near Guadalajara in western Mexico but paramedics could only confirm Bermejo’s untimely death.

Her body was removed from the tracks to undergo an autopsy before being handed over to her family for burial.

The police have collected statements from witnesses who took part in the photoshoot.

Jalisco State prosecutor Joaquín Méndez Ruiz said: “Based on the information we have so far, the victim was taking part in a photoshoot with a person we have already interviewed and some other witnesses at the scene.

“Everything indicates it was an accident.

“She got too close to the train as it was passing.

“The force apparently managed to pull her clothes towards it and that’s what caused her death.”

The investigation into the Venezuelan model’s death is ongoing.

Earlier this year, an Instagram influencer unexpectedly passed away from a blood clot after undergoing a liposuction procedure.

Elena Larrea, 30, tragically died from a pulmonary embolism on March 19 after going under the knife just days before.

Elsewhere in Mexico, at least nine people died including a child and 50 were injured after a stage collapsed at an election rally in the northeastern city of San Pedro Garza García on Wednesday.

Terrifying footage captured the moment strong winds whipped through the structure, breaking it apart and crushing victims trapped inside.

And at least 138 monkeys have been killed by extreme heat in the Gulf Coast state of Tabasco since May 16, falling from trees already dead amid a brutal 46C Mexican heatwave.

The deaths happened over just six days where the creatures dropped “like apples” as locals frantically battled to save them.
