There's A Lot Of Gaslighting Going On Over Trump's Libertarian Speech

If your feet are firmly planted in reality, Donald Trump bombed while he was a featured speaker at the Libertarian Convention Saturday evening. But if you live in MAGA world, your Trumpy bear was met with applause and adoration. The fact is that the twice-impeached one-term President isn't popular outside of his comfort zone, with red-hat-wearing supporters chanting, 'We love Trump! We love Trump!'

Trump's speech to the Libertarians was eye-opening. And the relatively small crowd Trump garnered in the Bronx the day before was, too, in a city of eight million people. That's why they lie about the crowd size while disregarding the boos and heckling last night, which didn't end while Trump was onstage.

Trumpers have to lie about him or admit that regular Americans aren't into the bloviating windbag. Utah Sen. Mike Lee falsely said, "Trump knocked it out of the park tonight."
