They were of a more advanced age as the oldest claimed she was 85-years-old, to much applause from the audience.
Soon after they started to dance, theys stripped off their towelling robes to reveal bright pink workout t-shirts underneath.
The stage and the aisles of the theatre were soon flooded with dozens more ladies, all joining in the uplifting dance.
All four judges gave the act fantastic reviews as they were sent through to the next round.
Even though the the auditorium of the London Palladium was on their feet, many viewers were left unimpressed by the act.
One fan claimed: “These pink ladies will get through cos there’s lots of them and, theyre old. But unfortunately theyre not very good. #BGT.”
A second suggested: “Old people do exercises like this. Hardly talent #BGT
“I cannot stand these stupid talentless acts, when a s*** load of people turn up and then the judges feel they have to say YES”, wrote a third viewer.
Going on from this, they also claimed that Simon Cowell, 64, in particular has become far more mellow as the years have gone on.
The Syco businessman has been serving as a main judge on the show since the first series in 2007.
He was previously known for his cutting remarks to contestants if talent did not necessarily live up to expectations.
Former The X Factor presenter Kate Thornton previously referred to him on-screen as ‘Mr Nasty’ in voiceovers for the show.
But long-time fans took to X – formerly known as Twitter – as they claimed he would have never let the dance act through before.
An additional viewer fumed: “This is why I can’t watch this show anymore. How is a load of old biddies doing care home zumba talent? #BGT”
Whilst someone else suggested: “Simon Cowell is literally so much nicer than he used to be! #britainsgottalent #bgt.”
“#BGT olden days Simon would never say yes to that!”, stated a another fan.
To which, a critical social media user replied: “Boring isn’t it…..#BritainsGotTalent.”
