Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s daughter Vivienne, 15, drops dad’s last name in Playbill for Broadway show
ANGELINA Jolie and Brad Pitt’s daughter Vivienne has dropped her father’s last name from her listing in the Playbill for The Outsiders on Broadway.
The child star helped her mother produce the musical, which opened on April 11 at the Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre in New York City.
According to People, Vivienne, 15, chose to use her mother’s legal middle name, Jolie, in lieu of her given last name, Jolie-Pitt.
The Outsiders is a new musical based on the YA novel written by author SE Hinton.
The musical is told from the perspective of the 14-year-old protagonist, Ponyboy Curtis (Brody Grant), who lives in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Ponyboy follows the ongoing tension between two rival gangs during the 1960s.
Vivienne’s role is listed in the playbill as a producer’s assistant.
Her role in the musical did not include a bio.
An assistant producer is typically a member of the production crew who provides administrative and creative support to the producer.
The Playbill credits Vivienne’s mother, Angelina, 48, as a producer on the musical.
“Angelina is thrilled to be working on her first theatrical producing venture alongside her daughter, Vivienne, who is a theatre student and supporter of the arts,” the producer information reads.
The Outsiders: A New Musical has garnered 12 Tony Award nominations including Best Musical and Best Original Music.
‘AN OBSERVER’
About a month ago, Angelina spoke to Extra about working with her daughter on the project.
“Viv ended up more with Justin [Levine] than with me, so you can tell by choice of attire which team she’s on.” the producer said during the video interview.
“Let me tell you something about Viv,” Justin – who does the music supervision, orchestration, and arrangements on the Broadway show – added.
“Viv is one of the greatest humans I’ve ever met.”

HER SIBLINGS
Vivienne’s choice to use a different moniker follows that of her sister Zahara, who also used Jolie while joining a sorority in November 2023.
The 19-year-old pledged to the Mu Pi chapter of the Alpha Kappa Alpha sorority at Spelman College over the fall, as Zahara Marley Jolie, Essence reported at the time.
Vivienne’s apparent name change followed years of discord between Brad, 60, Angelina, and their children.
In 2016, the Maleficient actress filed for divorce and requested sole physical custody of the couple’s six children, Vivienne, Zahara, Knox, Maddox, Pax, and Shiloh.
The former Hollywood couple battled for custody of their younger children for nearly eight years.
