Fatal car, dirt bike crash in Pittsfield on Saturday

PITTSFIELD, Mass. (NEWS10) -- The Pittsfield Police Department reported that there was a crash between a car and a dirt bike on Saturday around 6:50 p.m. The crash was fatal for the dirt bike driver, according to police.

Police say the car driver was traveling south on Plymouth Street when he collided with a dirt bike going west on West Housatonic Street. The driver of the dirt bike was John Tyska, 34, of Pittsfield, who was pronounced dead at the scene.
