Sunil Narine becomes first player to win 'Most Valuable Player' award in IPL thrice

Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) all-rounder Sunil Narine became the first player to win the 'Most Valuable Player' (MVP) award three times in the Indian Premier League (IPL) after KKR defeated Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in the 2024 season final. Narine previously won the MVP in 2012, his debut season, and again in 2018. In the 2024 season, he scored 488 runs and took 17 wickets.
