APD: 2 injured in shooting involving police

AUSTIN (KXAN) — The Austin Police Department said officers were involved in a shooting early Monday morning in north Austin.

According to APD, officers responded to the 12501 Tech Ridge Boulevard for a disturbance hotshot call.

APD said two people were taken to the hospital, but no officers were injured during the incident.

Police are expected to hold a media briefing to provide more information; however, the time has yet to be determined.
